Can I Purchase Event Recordings?
Post-season games may be available for purchase as a downloadable digital copy. We do not offer downloadable digital copies of regular season games, however, you can continue to watch regular season games on-demand.
All purchases available from the NFHS Network website or store are distributed as digital downloads. We do not offer physical DVDs for purchase.
How to Purchase a Digital Copy
Events available for purchase can be found in our NFHS Network Store. You can sort purchasable games by date, sport, state, and through keyword search.
You can also purchase a downloadable digital copy of your event, when available, directly from the event page with a Buy a Copy button under the video player and event description.
Click Buy or Buy a Copy and you'll be taken to a PayPal checkout page. Here, you can sign into your account or checkout without one.
How Long Does it Take to Receive a Digital Copy?
You will receive an email containing a download link for your digital copy within 24 hours of purchase.
Please note that the download link will expire after 72 hours, so make sure you download it to your device or computer during that time.
The email subject line will be Your VOD is Ready to Download and the sender will be noreply@nfhsnetwork.com.
If you do not see the email in your inbox, please check your spam/junk folders. If you used your PayPal account to purchase, it may have also been sent to the email associated with that account.
How Do I Download My Digital Copy?
On your computer
In your Your VOD is Ready to Download mail, click the link that says CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD GAME FILM.
Clicking the link either open a video player in your browser or prompt you to select a location on your computer to save the file, depending on your settings.
If it opens in a web player, just click the three dots in the bottom right corner:
Then click on the option to Download.
On your iPhone
- Find the email containing the download link in your mail app and tap the link.
- Safari or your default browser should open and start playing the video automatically in full-screen.
- Pause the video and tap the X icon in the upper left to exit out of full screen.
- At the bottom in the toolbar, there should be an icon that is a box with an arrow inside of it pointing up, which you can tap.
- Next, select the option Save to Files, then Save.
- That file should start downloading to your phone, and you can then access it anytime from your Files app.
What Is the Quality of the Digital Copy?
Digital copy purchases are downloaded in .mp4 file format. When you purchase a digital copy, you are buying a copy of the on-demand footage from the NFHS Network.
As a result, any technical difficulties that were experienced during the original broadcast will reflect on the digital copy, which may include:
- Audio removal of copyright material
- Audio or video inconsistencies experienced during the broadcast
- Missing game footage
- Technical difficulties experienced during the original broadcast
If your digital copy does not match the broadcast on our website, please let our Customer Support team know. Be sure to include your order number and PayPal email address.
Why is a Game Not Available for Purchase?
If you see a post-season event that is not available to buy, please contact our Customer Support Team and include the URL of the event you want to purchase. We will look into the purchase availability of this game.
